ALDI Supermarkets – Rollout, NSW
When ALDI arrived in Australia in 2001, they brought with them a simple proposition – quality products, honest prices, and no unnecessary frills. What they also brought was an extraordinary ambition: to build a national retail network from scratch, one store at a time.
From zero to over 500 stores in just over two decades, ALDI is now firmly established as one of Australia’s top ten retailers – and Prime Projects has been part of that story.
Prime Projects completed the construction and fitout of various ALDI stores across NSW, delivering each to the brand’s exacting corporate standards. Designed by Donaldson Worrad, each 1,500m² store was built around ALDI’s signature efficiency – bright, clean layouts, energy-efficient lighting, high-velocity checkouts and high-density retail formats engineered for throughput without compromise on finish.
Retail construction at this scale rewards builders who understand that consistency is everything. Every store a customer walks into must feel the same – considered, functional, and built to last.
