IVE Group, Huntingwood

Some industrial fitouts are complex. Some are in a category of their own. Prime Projects was engaged by GPT Group to repurpose an existing warehouse at Huntingwood for IVE Group – one of Australia’s leading print and marketing communications companies. The scale of what was required became clear quickly: three German-engineered printing press machines, each valued at $20 million, needed to be integrated into a facility never designed to receive them.

Major structural alterations were undertaken to accommodate the immense weight and footprint of the imported presses — a process demanding precise engineering, meticulous sequencing and absolute structural confidence throughout. Alongside this, a 1,000m² office fitout was delivered to a high specification, additional recessed loading docks were installed to improve operational flow, a new breezeway was constructed and comprehensive fire service upgrades were completed across the facility.
