Self-Storage Facility, Concord
Self-storage is rarely celebrated for its architecture. Prime Projects changed that.
Delivered on one of Sydney’s busiest corridors and officially opened in February 2026, this purpose-built four-level facility on Parramatta Road, Concord brings a new standard of design and functionality to Inner West storage – conceived by SJB and Harding Architects and built by Prime Projects to an exceptionally high level of finish.
Over 1,000 individually alarmed, secure storage units sit across four levels, served by three high-speed “Going-Up” lifts and undercover, all-weather drive-through access. Every detail was considered with the customer experience in mind – convenience, security and ease of access at every turn.
Beneath the surface, the project carried significant civil complexity. Major stormwater culvert expansion and upgrade works ran alongside the building programme – demanding precise engineering, careful sequencing and rigorous coordination to deliver both elements on time and to standard.
Prime Projects navigated it all without compromise – proving once again that complexity, handled with expertise and care, simply becomes another measure of quality.
