23 Ryde Road, Pymble
For nine years, 23 Ryde Road stood empty – a derelict shell so thoroughly claimed by graffiti artists it had earned its own nickname. The Graffiti Building. Forgotten, faded, written off.
Prime Constructions saw something else entirely. Engaged by Monarch Investments and working alongside SBA Architects, Prime Constructions transformed the abandoned three-level structure into “23 on Ryde” – a 2,100m² premium corporate office centre finished in November 2020.
The work was extensive. Structural rectifications. A striking new Vitradual cladding facade in Monument Grey. Expansive glazing flooding interiors with natural light. Rear balconies opening onto North Shore bushland. End-of-trip facilities, upgraded services, and a $1 million fire safety pump room installed throughout. Sixty-three basement car spaces. Full BCA compliance. And a nod to the building’s colourful past, woven into SBA’s final design.
From abandoned canvas to corporate address – in Prime Constructions’ hands, the transformation was complete.
